1. Permitted Use & Platform Purpose

Askdepth provides an automated AI-moderated interview and qualitative research platform designed solely for product discovery, user experience research, market studies, and customer feedback.

2. Prohibited Uses: Employment, Hiring & Workplace Decisions

To ensure compliance with the European Union Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, Annex III) and international labor regulations, Customers and Users are strictly prohibited from using Askdepth, its interviews, transcripts, or AI-generated insights for any of the following purposes:

  • Recruitment & Candidate Screening: Evaluating job applicants, scoring candidate interviews, filtering job applications, or making hiring decisions.
  • Employment Evaluation & Performance: Assessing employee performance, determining compensation, promotion, demotion, task allocation, or termination.
  • Workplace Surveillance: Monitoring worker behaviour or collecting employee productivity metrics.

Violation of this prohibition constitutes a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate termination of account access.

3. AI System Transparency & Respondent Consent

Customers using Askdepth to interview participants must ensure that all interview links pass through Askdepth's Trust Gate, which informs participants under EU AI Act Article 50 that the moderator is an artificial intelligence system and obtains required consents.
